Dual Power Transfer Switch 110V 220V
This dual power transfer controller is used between an off-grid system and the utility grid. The controller is separately connected with grid power, inverter, battery and load. The controller can work with both solar system and wind system.
There are 5 indicators on the controller display.
- Grid power indicator (A)
- Inverter indicator (B)
- Battery indicator (state of charge): 75% (C), 50% (D), 25% (E)
System Working Specification:
Step 1: Once the battery is fully charged, or over 75%, inverter indicator (B) and battery state indicator (C) is shining green. In this process, power is provided by off-grid system (wind/solar).
Step 2: When the battery level is at 50%, the inverter indicator (B) and battery state indicator (D) is shining green. In this process, power is provided by off-grid system (wind/solar).
Step 3: When the battery level is at 25%, grid power indicator (A) is shining green, and battery state indicator (E) is shining red. At this time the battery voltage is lower than 10.5V or 21V. The controller will automatically change the power supplier to grid power in 10ms. In this process, power is provided by the utility grid.
Step 4: Once the battery has recharged to 50%, battery state indicator (D) and public power (A) is shining green. In this process, power is still provided by the utility grid, because battery voltage has not reached the over discharge return voltage point
Step 5: Once the battery level has reached 75%, inverter indicator (B) and battery state indicator (C) is shining green. At this time the voltage has returned to 13.5V or 27V, the controller will automatically change the power supply to battery in 10ms. In this process, power is provided by the off-grid system (wind/solar).
